After Ranginui and Papatūānuku had been separated, Papatūānuku was left with lacerations all over her and she mourned terribly for Ranginui. Kawakawa was a gift, sent directly from Io to Papatūānuku, to help heal her heart and all of her wounds.
The leaves of the Kawakawa are heart shaped and the heart is responsible for pumping blood around the body. The main component of blood is water, which represents life and fertility.
Because she has a strong affinity with water, she is perfect for this hydrating serum.
Skin: For dehydrated skin.
Application: Cleanse the skin first, then gently pat serum into the skin, avoiding the eye area.
